I copped several pair of shoes from the bi-annual Paul Andrew sample sale in Midtown NYC. My full review of the sale (with pics) is here, which gives you a sense of how they operate their sales, price ranges, and selection.
If you’re not familiar with the brand, then I’m excited to put you on. Paul Andrew is one of my favorite women’s shoe designers/brands because he gets what a woman wants in a feminine shoe – pump, sandal, boot(ie), flat, wedge etc. I love that he adds interesting design elements (structured heel, subtle embellishments, fabric usage).
Anyway, when the two-day sale rolls around I get excited to see what they have. I try to go as soon as it opens on the first day before it gets crowded and the good selection disappears. I got three pair of shoes (the second, third, and fourth pair below). Something told me to go back on the second and last day of the sale to do another walkthrough and I got two more pair.
I love all five pair. We’re approaching the start of spring and I can’t wait to put my Uggs in hibernation so I can break in all of these badboys. What do you think? More importantly, how would you style them? I would love to hear your recommendations.
For the ones that are still for sale, I included links to shop below (all the shoes are on a list called ‘PAUL ANDREW SAMPLE SALE HAUL’). I didn’t track them all down, but I can…or I can find alternatives. Let me know.
I can’t find this exact pair, but here is another silver pair of mules that I really like
