NYC based brand Rosie Assoulin is having a sample sale in lower Manhattan (on Broadway near Canal Street). It’s held in a large space, there were no lines, and it wasn’t crowded at all.
The sale featured a variety of pieces, including clothing, shoes, accessories. There were casual items like t-shirts and sweaters, as well as dressy and formal items, like what we’ve seen from the brand’s runway shows and lookbooks. The majority of pieces were from past seasons but there were also a few current options. Because most of the items are samples, they run in size 2s, though there were a few available in other sizes.
Prices were about 90% off retail, so the more casual clothes such as tees were $50/$60, while sweatshirts and sweaters were $80-$100. The more luxurious items (gowns, skirts, dresses, blouses) were around $200 on the low end on up to $400/$500.
There are platform sandals and mules (by Paul Andrew) between $50-$75 and pumps by Rosie starting at $150. Most of the remaining sizes were either 36/37 and 40/41. You can also find a small selection of bags (between $75-$400), as well as earrings and scarves (less than $100).
If you’re looking for unique, well-crafted pieces, then check out the sale. The deals are good, but be prepared to spend and don’t count on further price reductions. The sale runs through Thursday.
