The Arrivals is a NYC based outerwear brand that makes jackets and coats. Their look is clean and minimalist and they have a big focus on construction so that their merch is stylish while functional. I don’t have any of their pieces (yet) so I wanted to check out their pop up sample sale at their store on Greene Street in Soho. I believe they’re trying to move out older styles or items with slight imperfections.
As part of the sale, they mainly have short and waist-length jackets (including the Clo Mini leather style, Niels bombers, Moya shearling) that range between $100 and $300. This is a really good deal because the retail prices for these styles were several hundred dollars and up. There are also coats (down, Halstrom parkas) from $450 to $650. Black was the main color I saw, but there are other interesting colorways as well (Mars, Terra, Crimson).
There is a decent selection of items in mid-range sizes but the selection is not plentiful. Apparently, their sizes run large so I definitely recommend trying things on. All sales are final and there are no returns.
If you’re in the market for a sleek leather jacket or a minimalist looking coat, stop by before the sale ends this Sunday. While the jackets and coats were nice, I didn’t walk away with any. However, I got these MVMT sunglasses because I like the shape. Plus they were really affordable (only $60!). Amazon has them in a burnt orange colorway here.
